TJ Bohannon: As President/Treasurer of the NVSA, Mr. Bohannon is focused on bringing the standardbred industry to Nevada. He is focused on building strong relationships with education and industry professionals to build the foundation for growth. Mr Bohannon has 30 years in the industry (full and part time) in various capacities including ownership and stable operations. He is USTA Driver/Trainer educated and passed the Drivers written exam.

In business, Mr. Bohannon is a CPA, financial, risk management, and corporate governance expert who has served on several boards. He is the Founder of Equine Industry Development LLC, and has owned consulting firms. Companies/Clients that he has helped address risk and governance requirements include JPMorgan Chase, Capital One, Central Garden and Pet, Atlas Energy and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC.


Bobbi Jo Martin: Ms. Martin has been in Harness Racing full-time for over 30 years.  She was a Trainer for 20 years (1994-2013) and has over 575 wins and $2.8 Million in earnings. In 2012 she was voted the Western New York Trainer of the Year. Throughout her career she has worked in most capacities with horses, including as a Veterinarian's Assistant.


Barbara Burns: Ms. Burns is an award winning entrepreneur, who has launched several businesses in life sciences and the service industries. She has been an 'Outstanding Volunteer' for the Opera Columbus and Diabetes Foundation of Collier County and has performed at Carnegie Hall. Barbara has owned several standardbreds, and is known most notably as a breeder. One of her top producing mares, is now the dam of a $1 million producing pacer.

John Martin: Mr. Martin has over 50 years as a Driver, Trainer, Owner and overall horseman.  John has worked with hundreds of horses throughout the years and is a great storyteller of the life of harness racing. He has a special affection to training trotters. John brings a hands on expertise to building a family racing stable that has over 30 horses successfully competing at Northfield Park.

Andy Bryner: Andy is a former Vice President and Board Member of the Indiana Standardbred Association. He has served on various Committees including the Contract Committee and Backside Committee where he has worked closely with Management, Judges, Trainers and Drivers to problem solve and manage issues. Andy is very strong at promoting the benefits of Driver/Trainer pay structures.

Marty Allen, DVM: “Magic" Marty was raised in the Standardbred racing industry and understands the rigors and stresses of horses in extreme sports. He graduated from Colorado State University Veterinarian School (1994), and earned his Masters degree at the University of Illinois in 2001, where he performed his surgery residency and later was Associate Professor.

Ted Bookstaver: Ted is a standardbred owner and breeder who claimed a horse in 1992 at the Meadowlands and has been active ever since.  He earned his 'P' driver's license in 1994 and has driven at Monticello Raceway, Pocono Downs and Goshen Historic Track.  Ted has been in entertainment for more than 25 years, where he has specialized in the international distribution and monetization of produced and formattable content.  Currently he is the Vice President of Client Relations for North Americas at eTribez, Inc., an Israeli-based software firm that provides digital solutions to the production industry.  He has a Bachelor's Degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and an MBA degree (in finance) from Pepperdine University. Ted adds industry value and understanding of entertainment content, which simulcasting is a key component to the success of harness racing.
