Our Group Classifications are:
Owners/Breeders are Regular Members that presently own all of or a valid legal interest in at least one horse registered with the United States Trotting Association that is, was or will be used primarily for harness racing or breeding purposes (based on class).
Trainers/Drivers are Regular Members that are qualified to train or drive at any commercial harness racing meet or fair harness racing program.
Caretakers are Regular Members who are licensed Veterinarians or Grooms with a valid registration with the United States Trotting Association.
Educators are those active in providing youth and higher education through formal education systems (Elementary, Junior High, High School, Technical, and College/University), through groups such as FFA and 4-H, and Certification programs.
Contributors consist of any ether individual, firm, partnership, or corporation interested or involved directly in the Nevada Standardbred Industry and include Sales Companies, Track Representatives and Race Officials. This membership group provides advice to the Board and Regular Members but does not have noting rights and are not entitled to voting rights or any insurances (Sulky, Third Party Liability, Fire and Disaster) offered by NVSA, but shall receive all other information published by NVSA.
